Yvonne is a British trained Registered Nurse and Midwife. After working many years in that field, she attended the University of Leeds and graduated with a Diploma in Integrative Counselling with distinction. She is a Registered Member of the BACP.


She has lived and worked in the Caribbean, West Africa, The United States of America and England.


Yvonne works Guided by the BACP code of ethics; believing that each client is a unique person. Clients have a variety of human experiences and culture and need to be seen in that regard. She makes each client first while working with them aiming to increase their sense of wellbeing. Every life is a story and each story deserves to be heard when the need arises.


She works with the integrative model which incorporates the Person-Centred Approach.


She works with adults and older adults. Yvonne can help with Depression, Loss, Relationship issues, Self-esteem, Spirituality, Women’s issue and Cultural Issues.


The first session will be of a one-hour duration to establish the reason for therapy, what is expected of therapy, and the goals of therapy. The set time of sessions will be agreed and the number of sessions needed.


Yvonne is a volunteer Counsellor with St. Vincent’s Support Centre in Leeds.
